I am a Chicago-bred, Brooklyn-based, illustrator and artist. My work is mostly digital media, but I’ve explored other mediums like oil paint, ink, and clay sculpture. My work often tackles the ‘strange’ or ‘unsettling;’ typically in terms of subject matter, as I’m fascinated by the things we find gross, weird, or scary, and why we find them so. I take these (so-called) unsettling subjects, and make them more approachable, often by adding humorous or tender elements. Most of my work is quite personal, as I try to make sense of the world and my mind through *silly little drawings.*
